- For the second year in a row, Cal Poly took home both men’s and women’s team titles at the 2023 Big West Cross Country Championships on Oct. 27, 2023,at Blacklake Golf Resort and hosted by Cal Poly.
- In the men’s 8K, Cal Poly’s Davis Bove crossed the finish line in 23:37.4 to take the individual crown. Fellow Mustang Aidan McCarthy was second at 23:41.6 and UC Santa Barbara’s Ethan Godsey came in third at 23:45.2.
- Cal Poly took their record 19th team title with four scorers in the top 10, dominating the competition with a mere 27 points, 60 ahead of second-place UC Santa Barbara (87). The Mustangs have won all but six team championships since 1998.
- In the women’s 6K, UC Davis took the top three spots with Sierra Atkins (19:52.5), Brianna Weidler (20:09.8) and Danielle Barrett (20:29.9) going 1-2-3.
- Although the Aggies had a strong contingent up front, Cal Poly’s depth came through going 4-6-7-8-14 for 39 points to edge out UC Davis (58) by 19 points for the team title. It was the Mustangs' ninth team title in program history.

- Fifth-seeded UC Irvine clinched its third consecutive conference crown after defeatingNo. 3 seedCal Poly, 1-0, in Sunday’s final of the 2023 Big West Women’s Soccer Championship at host regular-season champion Cal State Fullerton’s field atTitan Stadium on Nov. 5.
- The Anteaters’ previous two wins were also shutouts, one in overtime, to begin their impressive postseason run.
- This wasthethird Big West Championship title for UC Irvine under 17th-year head coach Scott Juniper, and the fourthoverall. UCI's first crown cameback in 1997.
November 1, 4, & 11, 2023
- No. 2 seed UC Irvine captured the 2023 Big West Men’s Soccer Championship with an 8-7 advantage in penalty kicks over No. 4 seed UC Davis, on Nov. 11at Anteater Stadium. The contest wasrecorded as a 0-0 tie. It is the fifth Big West Championship title in UC Irvine program history, having won it previously in 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013,and first for Anteater head coach Yossi Raz.
- This was the fourth Big West Men's Soccer Championship determined by penalty kicks - with a 0-0 tie and PKs also occurring in 2014, '17 and '18.

- Top-seeded UC Irvinedefeated No. 2 UC Santa Barbarain dramatic fashion, 11-9, to clinch the Big West Men's Water Polo Championship in La Jolla, Calif on Nov. 19.
- The Gauchos held the lead early in the third period before the Anteaters came roaring back with a string of three unanswered to grab the lead which wouldn't be relinquished.
- The Championship marked the first season back as a Big West sponsored sport after a 22-year hiatus.

- With a dominant performance on the court on Saturday at Walter Pyramid, the No. 2 seed Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine defeated fourth-seed and championship host Long Beach State, 3-0, to claim the 2023 Outrigger Big West Women's Volleyball Championship crown in front of an impressive crowd of 2,237 raucous spectators on Nov. 25.
- The crowd stoodas the highest 2023 Division I women's volleyball conference championship final match attendance.
- This was the first year that a Big West Women's Volleyball Championship was contested in the league.

- In a heart-pounding championship clash for The Big West title, No. 4 seed Long Beach State emerged victorious against No. 2 seed UC Davis, clinching a 74-70 victory and earning the coveted automatic berth to the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship.
- Dating back to 1977, this marks Long Beach State’s sixth Big West Championship title and first since 2012.
- Since 1976, the Beach are the seventh team seeded No. 4 or lower to earn the title.

- After two runner-up finishes in the past three years, No. 2 seed UC Irvine emerged victorious against the fifth-seeded UC Davis Aggies with a final score of 53-39 to cut down the nets at the 2024 Hercules Tires Big West Women’s Basketball Championship from The Dollar Loan Center.
- This marks UC Irvine’s seventh championship appearance and second-ever Big West Championship title, also earning a ring in 1995.

- Long Beach State completed the wire-to-wire win in both the team and individual race for the title at the 2024 Big West Women’s Golf Championship at Spanish Trail Country Club on April 16.
- With Leovao’s second crown in two tries, she stands as just the sixth repeat Big West medalist since the event began in 1987 and the first since Beth Allen went back-to-back for CSUN in 2003 and ’04. Interestingly, all six winners with multiple titles to their name also guided their team to the championship.
- This is Long Beach State’s fourth Big West Championship with the most recent coming in back-to-back fashion in 2018 and ’19.
- Leovao was able to advance through regionals to compete at the 2024 NCAA Women's Golf Championships at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa, minutes from the Carlsbad native's hometown.

- In a championship clash at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu on April 20, the No. 1 seed Long Beach State squared off against the No. 2 seed UC Irvine in the final showdown of The Hawaiian Islands presents the 2024 Outrigger Big West Men's Volleyball Championship as LBSU secured the crown in a 3-1 victory.
- The Big West Championship titleis the first for the Beach since the conference's inaugural event in 2018.
- LBSU went on to host the 2024 National Collegiate Men's Volleyball Championship, finishing as national runners-up.
April 25-26, 2024 at Long Beach City Community College inLong Beach, Calif.
- After a hard-fought final in front of a raucous crowd at Long Beach City College, the Hawai’i Rainbow Wahine claimed the program’sfourth title at the 2024 Big West Beach Volleyball Championship, defeating host Long Beach State, 3-2.
- The Championship format featured a first day of pool play before six teams advanced to single elimination bracket play.
- Heading into the event as the No. 3 seed, UH is just the second No. 3 or lower to win the crown, joining Cal Poly in 2022.
- The Big West saw three teams reach the 2024 National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship, with automatic qualifier Hawai'i, runner-up Long Beach State and Cal Poly earning spots in the bracket. The Mustangs advanced to the semifinals of the event.

- No. 5 seed Cal Poly captured the 2024 Big West Championship excitingly with a 4-3 victory versus No. 6 Cal State Fullerton on April 27at Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.
- This marked Cal Poly's second overall Big West title and the first since 2003.

- No. 2 seed UC Irvine knocked off No. 1 seed UC Santa Barbara, 4-1 to capture the 2024 Big West Championshipat Barnes Tennis Center on April 28.
- The Anteaters clinched their fifth overall Big West title, and second in the last three seasons with the thrilling triumph over the top-seed and regular season champion UCSB.

- After being championship runners-up the last two years, top-seeded Hawai’icaptured the 2024 Big West Women’s Water Polo Championship, defeating No. 3 seed Long Beach State by a final score of 9-5 in the title match of the 2024 Big West Women’s Water Polo Championshipat Schaal Aquatics Center on April 28.
- It is the fifth Big West Championship title (2013, 2015, 2019, 2021, 2024) for Hawai’i, all coming under 13th-yearhead coach Maureen Colewho announced retirement at the conclusionof the season.
- The Rainbow Wahine went on to advance to the semifinals at the 2024 National Collegiate Women's Water Polo Championship.

- Surging to the finish, Long Beach State claimed back-to-back Big West Championshipsat La Quinta Country Club on April 30. The conference trophy is the fifth for the program (1973, 2004, 21, 23, 24) and the third in the last four seasons.
- Individual medalist honors go to Cal State Fullerton senior Tegan Andrews. The wire-to-wire winner posted round of 63, 73, and 66 to finish at 14-under 202 for the four stroke lead. Runner-up honors went to LBSU senior Clay Seeber.
May 3-4, 2024 (Multis) andMay 10-11, 2024 (Championship) atMiller & Capriotti Athletics Complex inSan Luis Obispo, Calif.
- The Cal Poly men’s and women’s track & field swept both team titles on the May 11 at the final day of the 2024 Big West Track & Field Championships fromMiller & Capriotti Athletics Complex.
- It was Cal Poly’s first men’s team championship and second-ever women’s crown. The last Mustang women’s title came in 2021. It is the first time since 2010 that the same team swept both men’s and women’s team titles, when CSUN accomplished the feat.
- Cal State Fullerton earned their 14thBig West Championship title over softball rival Long Beach State in 2024. It is the Titans' sixth out of the last eight completed seasons.
- CSF punched their ticket to the national stage by clinchingtitle on the year's final weekend of the regular season with a series victory (4-1, 3-4, 10-4) versus Long Beach State. 2024 marked theTitans 32nd overall appearance in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.
- UC Santa Barbara claimed its 5thBig West Championship crown and third in the last five seasons in 2024. The Gauchos were rewarded for their efforts by hosting an NCAA Regional as the national No. 14 seed in the 2024 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship bracket.
- UCSB closed the season four games ahead of runner-up UC Irvine.
