As many of my professional colleagues know, I made a career shift just over a year ago and now work full time for the TSC Alliance.Why the career shift?Well, my 4-year-old son Parker Beebe was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) at birth, and ever since his diagnosis I've been doing everything Ican to raise awareness and fundraise to help find a cure for this rare disease. In a nutshell, this disease leads to tumor growths throughout his major bodily organs (heart, brain, eyes, liver, skin, etc.), which has meant amongst many other things, heart surgery at 5 days old and a long battle to try and get seizures under control.To date, over the various fundraisers we’ve held, we’ve helped raise $175,000+ for theTSC Alliance and we’d love to see that number grow even higher. So, this year we're back at Dewey Beer Company (Harbeson Location) Sunday, July 23rd from 1-4PM for our 2nd Annual Pours 4 Parker B Fundraiser!
