Working on Vday has its upside. I am in the relationship business and today was all about that. Pharma is such a small and wonderful world! Ran into one of my early mentors Bruce Berger , in industry and it was just an amazing catch up. Make relationships genuinely, holds true! So fitting on this Valentine’s Day 😊#conferenceday2 #lovewhatido #marketaccess #commercialization #learninganddevelopment #solutionsprovider

**We're itching to shout this from the mountain tops, but alas, no mountains in sight! ⛰️**This week, a landmark moment unfolded. ✨Our pioneering clients at Cann Strategy have clinched their place as one of the very first recipients of Nevada's coveted Social Consumption Lounge License! 🥳It wasn't merely a stroke of luck or a lottery win. 🚀 After being chosen in the lottery, our client demonstrated unblemished moral character in a public hearing and laid out a formidable business strategy that garnered recognition and approval. (And yes, a little non-humble brag — we at Cann Strategy crafted those plans! 🤘🏽).This was our inaugural dive into lounge operation plans, and boy, was there a lot to learn and implement! The trust placed in us to achieve this was immense, and we felt its weight. 🥇With precision and diligence, we've pieced together a comprehensive strategy. It spans inventory management, impeccable security measures, well-rounded business and financial plans, a harmonious blend of food & cannabis handling, all-encompassing training, staffing guidelines, and a resolute commitment to diversity & inclusion. 📝As they've established themselves as some of Nevada’s premier cannabis cultivators over the past decade, this new endeavor promises an invigorating chapter ahead for Kouanin Villa Cantwell , Steve Cantwell, and their esteemed business associates 🍀.And oh, the icing on the cake? A seamlessly executed operating plan review! 🌟Cheers to monumental successes and the many more on the horizon! 🚀🍃A colossal THANK YOU to one of our most unwavering industry allies, Scot Rutledge , for introducing Cann Strategy to this golden opportunity. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ #cannabisindustry #cannabisbusiness #cannabisconsulting #cannabislegalization #cannabislounges

9 years ago today, I was comfortably settled into a decent job, just received a raise, and was on the brink of another promotion. Then, a friend reached out with an opportunity to volunteer at the dispensary he managed. Passionate about cannabis and committed to advocating for safe access to medicine, I didn't hesitate to say yes. Over the next two days, I worked as a budtender, and by the end of it, they asked me to stay on permanently. It was a risky move, especially considering the uncertain legal landscape surrounding cannabis dispensaries at the time. But with unwavering support from my husband, I made the bold decision to leave my job and join the cannabis industry. The journey since then has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. I've poured my heart, soul, and countless hours into this job, facing challenges and obstacles at every turn. But, I wouldn't change a thing. Every day brings something new, every year presents fresh challenges, but through it all, I remain grateful for the opportunity to be part of this transformative industry. While others might shy away from the constant flux and uncertainty, I've found purpose in being part of this movement for change and progress. Yes, it's been tough at times, but the rewards have far outweighed the challenges. As I reflect on 9 incredible years with Tradecraft Farms and working in this industry, I'm filled with pride and gratitude. Here's to another year of growth, learning, and pushing boundaries as we continue to shape the future of cannabis. Here's to 9 years and counting, with sights set on a decade of excellence!🌿 #CannabisIndustry #TradecraftFarms #Milestones

Announcing our November Employee of the month: Matt Mastro! ✨ We are very lucky to have Matt here at New Leaf as our security guard and one of our budtenders. His dedication to the cannabis industry is one that doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you for all you do Matt! • How did you get started in the cannabis industry? After 25 years of being a professional chef and the decriminalization of cannabis I decided to change my career while utilizing my talent and skill. Now being in the industry for almost 6 years, I have become resident cannabis chef as well as one of our security guards and most recently a budtender. • What is your favorite part about working in a dispensary? The people! Working here has changed my life. We are a tight-knit group of efficient stoners and coming to work is like going to your family's house. • What is something you wish people knew about NewLeaf?Everyone who works here is passionate about their job from the owner and operations manager making sure they get the best product for the best prices for our customers to the security crew making sure everyone is safe. • What is something you wish people knew about cannabis//the cannabis industry? My favorite at the moment is the Strane brand. The Alien mints and compound Z are fire! I also like the sticky fish infused prerolls. • What is your favorite product at New Leaf right now?Edibles! Too many people have horror stories about their neighbors’ brownies or some black-market nerd ropes. I like to inform people of the benefits of accurate dosing. • What’s something you find yourself recommending a lot and why?Being a daily smoker for the last 30 plus years and my experience in the industry, I have realized a lot of our culture and community is looked over by the big corporate companies. But that’s not the case with New Leaf. #1 reason why I love my job so much. #employeelove #employeeofthemonth #fallriver #massachusetts

📰 📰 ⚡ The news is out! 📰 📰 ⚡I am officially a part of the Vector family. On top of those highlighted skills in Jack Shute's post, I thought I'd share a bit more here:👩🔬 - I am a BIG nerd, I love research articles, video games, board games, and will absolutely want to fully understand what YOU do in your cool science jobs. 🦕 - I am a proud neurodiverse millennial, and truly believe my ADHD has made me great at my job (most of the time), as science is my "special interest", but I will absolutely fight for equality, and advocate for safe spaces in all of my client / candidate interactions. 🐱 🐶 - I love my pets, and all animals, and fundraise for animals out in desperately bad welfare countries like the UAE, or those caught in the current affairs of Gaza. So if you see any of these posts in the future, please support me in helping the voiceless! 🏃♀️ - Following having a lobectomy in 2019, I am relearning how to run! I've followed and failed the C25K a couple of times, but I am a big believer in picking yourself up, and I am proud to say I am now back on track for a fastish 5km soon! I'd appreciate any running tips, or parkrun buddies in the Manchester area. 🔭 🌏 - I am a Geophysicist by background, and spent time making python programmes, and hiking up volcanoes to "observe" them, but I am also obsessed with space, and the stars, and in another smarter life I would have absolutely become an astrophysicist. There is plenty more to come, but I'll leave it at that! Please follow, and connect with me to follow this journey - I will be looking to expand my network further into the CDMO/ CRO / Pharmaceutical space, and grow this platform. For those who haven't seen my other post - Vector provide a solution that meshes together an amazing talent acquisition / recruitment process training platform with a true business partner approach to executive recruitment. I can't wait to see what we achieve with these powerful tools - Thanks for having me Neil Kelly, Marianne G. and Jack Shute#businessgrowth #pharmaceutical #neurodiverse #Executivesearch

Empowering Canna Consumers to Consume with Purpose and Intention

Good Morning Y’all! The past few months have been nothing short of a wild rollercoaster. Picture this: from scraping by with barely a bite to eat from September through November, to now finding myself fully immersed in the ever-green world of cannabis. It’s been a whirlwind shift, landing me in a place more comfortable and thrilling than any I’ve known before. So, you might ask, ‘What’s there to really talk about, Ri?’Oh, an eff ton!Diving headfirst into the cannabis industry is not for the faint of heart. It’s a realm where change is the only constant, and ‘Pivot’ might as well be the motto plastered on every wall. In just the past three months, I’ve been lost and found more times than I can count.Navigating this space requires a blend of passion, resilience, and a willingness to embrace change at every turn. I’ve seen firsthand how policies shift, trends come and go, and what was a best-seller one day can become passé the next. It’s a world where staying stagnant means falling behind, and the ability to adapt is your greatest asset.Yet, it’s also a space of incredible community and innovation. Amidst the chaos, there are moments of profound connection and creativity that remind me why I dove into this industry in the first place. It’s where passion meets purpose, and where every setback paves the path for new opportunities. From the outside looking in, my leap into cannabis might seem like a sudden shift. But it’s been a journey of self-discovery, of aligning my passions with my career, and most importantly, of finding a sense of belonging in this vast, verdant world. As I continue to ride this wave, I’m eager to share the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Stay tuned for more tales from the cannabis frontier, where every day is an adventure and every challenge is a chance to grow.Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that in the world of cannabis, the only way to truly thrive is to keep rolling with the punches and enjoying the ride. Thank you to Naturae New York, Nicolas Guarino, and Christian Mollica for taking the chance on me! and to Carol Tyson, MBA for keeping it fun! #rollwithit #newbeginnings #cannabisindustry #nycannabis

Logistics Security, Quality, and Cold Chain risk mitigation

As I fly home from LogiPharma connect event and reflect on the many meetings that the Overhaul team had with multiple pharma companies. It is interesting that many of the challenges are similar. Which I think is fairly normal but it seems in this industry there is a lot more collaboration between organizations to solve these problems. The idea in this industry is how to be make it safer, more efficient and better for the patientEach year more and more people know Overhaul and and our capabilities in Security and Cold Chain space which is refreshing and means something we are doing is working. #cargosecurity #qualityassurance #coldchain #pharmaceuticalindustry
