Ingredients:

  • Ground hamburger beef (85% lean)
  • Maple Flavored Bacon
  • Salt and Bacon
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Creamy Peanut Butter
  • Hamburger Buns

How to make peanut butter burger:

  • Step 1. Prepare the bacon. Cook the bacon until crispy based on your preference. Set aside.
  • Step 2. Fire up the grill. Preheat a grill over medium high heat (approximately 350-400 degrees F).
  • Step 3. Divide the ground beef. Form the ground beef into 6 patties.

Step 4. Put the patties on the grill. Place on the grill over direct heat. Season the patties with salt and pepper.

Step 5. Cook the burgers. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side until the patties reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

Step 6. Melt the peanut butter. Microwave the peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl on high for 30 seconds.

Step 7. Warm the burger buns before using. Place the hamburger buns on the grill for approximately 1 minute to toast the buns. Remove the buns.

Step 8. Add cheese and burger to each bun. Top each of the bottom buns with a slice of the cheddar cheese and a cooked burger patty.

Tips for the Best Burger:

  • Direct heat. Place the burgers on direct heat when cooking.
  • Don’t press the patties down while grilling. This will allow the juices to escape, and it will not be as juicy. So resist the urge to press the patties with your spatula while cooking.
  • Allow the burgers to rest. Once you remove them from the grill, allow the patties to rest for 5 minutes.
