According to data from Cirium, an aviation analytics company, the hybrid low-cost carrier has 28,662 scheduled flights in March, operating from 107 airports. The carrier's top 5 busiest routes this month are from three of its main airports, as shown below:

Now, let's look at JetBlue's busiest routes from its top six airports.

New York and Boston have the most flights

New York-JFK and Boston Logan Airport have about 30% of JetBlue's outbound flights this month. The carrier will operate 4,895 flights from JFK and 3,978 from Boston, offering 773,932 and 550,107 seats, respectively. It plans to serve about 82 destinations from JFK and 66 from Boston.

The top route from JFK is to Los Angeles, with 261 scheduled flights and 41,532 seats. The 2,150-nautical mile (3,982-kilometer) route sees up to nine daily flights operated by the Airbus A321. Fort Lauderdale is the second-most connected to JFK on JetBlue's network, with 219 flights and 36,618 seats. This is followed by Boston, with 192 scheduled flights and 19,700 seats.

The carrier's top route from Boston connects it to Washington's Reagan National Airport, with 374 scheduled flights and 37,400 seats. The route sees up to 14 daily flights, operated by the Embraer 190. New York-La Guardia follows this with 234 flights and 23,480 seats. Boston-Orlando is the third busiest, with 216 flights and 19,824 seats.

Flights from Fort Lauderdale and Orlando

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Orlando International (MCO) account for about 14.3% of JetBlue's outbound flights this month. It has scheduled 2,363 flights and 387,180 seats from FLL and 1,751 flights and 283,828 seats from MCO.

The carrier will serve 41 airports from Fort Lauderdale, with FLL-JFK being the busiest route. The 929 NM (1,720 km) route has 219 scheduled flights and 36,618 seats in March 2024. MCO-LGA is the second-busiest, with 174 flights and 27,402 seats. MCO-BOS completes the top three with 159 flights and 30,236 seats.

JetBlue will connect Orlando to 26 airports this month. Boston is the most connected on the carrier's network, with 215 flights and 36,510 seats. The route has an average of seven daily flights operated with Airbus A220, A320, A321, and Embraer 190 aircraft. MCO-LGA is the second-busiest route, with 200 flights and 32,762 seats, followed by MCO-JFK, with 185 scheduled flights and 30,860 seats.

Flights from La Guardia and Los Angeles

JetBlue has 1,147 scheduled flights and 116,506 seats from La Guardia, making it the fifth-busiest airport for outbound flights. It will connect the New York airport to 11 destinations, including 10 in the US and one in the Bahamas. The top route from LGA is to Boston, with 234 flights, followed by Orlando, 202 flights, and Fort Lauderdale, 174 flights.

Los Angeles (LAX), the only East Coast airport in the top six, will be connected to 16 airports. Like the JFK-LAX route, the New York airport is the most connected to Los Angeles, with 260 flights and 41,373 seats (one-way). Boston has the second-highest number of flights from LAX (121), followed by Fort Lauderdale (119).
